How the live feed works
Our homepage retrieves English- and Hindi-language headline metadata from GDELT’s open news index. Stories are selected by language, topic and recency. Headline availability, categorization and publication times may vary. We do not claim that every result has been independently verified by our editors.
Original publishers
Selecting a headline opens the publisher page in an embedded reader on our site. Publishers control their own framing rules and may block embedding; if that happens, visitors can close the reader and remain here. The publisher owns its article and is responsible for its reporting, corrections and updates. We do not copy article text or imply endorsement by the publisher.
Images
Photographs currently used on the homepage are illustrative stock images from Unsplash. They are not photographs of the events described in the live headlines. The image source and license are acknowledged on the site.
